🛡️ Safety and trust on FanScort

Online safety cannot rely on a single mechanism. FanScort uses several complementary layers including account protection, voluntary profile verification, content controls, blocking and reporting tools and moderation when necessary.

The objective is to reduce abusive behaviour and fake profiles while giving users more information to evaluate the profiles they choose to interact with.

FanScort can provide several complementary levels of verification. Depending on available options, users may submit a specific photo, a video or use an identity verification process.

• Photo verification: helps strengthen the link between the profile and the person appearing in its images.
• Video verification: uses a video submitted by the user and reviewed before approval.
• Identity verification: when available, this may rely on a specialised third-party service.

An approved verification may be represented by a visible badge or indicator on the profile.

Some content uploaded to FanScort may be subject to automated checks and, when necessary, additional review or moderation.

These mechanisms help identify content requiring particular attention before publication or continued availability on the platform.

FanScort is intended for adults. Protecting minors and limiting prohibited content are important platform priorities.

Verification badges and other information visible on a profile provide signals designed to help users understand the level of verification associated with an account.

These signals should be treated as decision-support information. They never replace personal judgement or normal precautions when interacting with someone online.

FanScort applies several technical measures designed to protect accounts and sensitive actions performed on the platform.

• secure password storage;
• protection of forms and sensitive actions against unauthorised requests;
• mechanisms designed to limit certain automated or abusive attempts;
• session controls and server-side validation of submitted data.

Users should also choose a unique password, never share it and log out when using a shared device.

The email address associated with an account is not publicly displayed on profiles. User exchanges can take place through the internal tools provided by FanScort.

Public information is limited to data required for profile operation and information users choose to provide in the appropriate fields.

Users can block a profile when they no longer wish to interact with it. FanScort also provides tools for reporting profiles or content that may be problematic.

Reports may be reviewed by moderators. Depending on the situation, actions may include content removal, restrictions, suspension or account deletion.

No verification system can guarantee a person’s future behaviour, intentions or absolute reliability.

A badge indicates that a defined verification procedure has been completed. It does not guarantee every piece of information supplied by a user or the safety of an offline meeting.

Normal precautions remain important whenever interacting or meeting with someone first encountered online.

If you encounter abusive behaviour, a fake profile, prohibited content or another concerning situation, use the reporting tools available on the platform.
